A Historic Note

foxgrrlI'm currently typing this post while traveling at 300km/hour! (I'm on a Thalys train.) As an aside, all of the trains here in Europe are spooky-quiet. Like more quiet than my hybrid car. I'm used to BART and Caltrain, which are so loud you can't hold a conversation with the person next to you. Here, I can hear people whispering at the other end of this car.

Ricochet sounds vaaaguely familiar but in 1994 I was in high school, so not travelling about on trains, and we didn't have "real" internet at my house yet anyway (that was 1995 -- only CompuServe before then, although granted, since I was about 6 years old) so I wouldn't have known the need for it.
