I got out of bed at 4am this morning and started shooting pictures.

Lens: 105mm Micro-NIKKOR 1:2.8 @f32
Focal Distance: 1.34ft(0.41m)
Filters: None
Location: In my kitchen, Sunnyvale, CA 94086
Post-Editing: (36-bit) WB: 4600K Green: 1.35; Exposure +0.98ev; Mid-range curve increased, black-point 0.000; (demoted to 24-bit), UnSharpMasked, Scaled Down.

I had considered human blood in other media (not photo), but it seems like everyone does that at some point. For drawing and painting it's difficult to work with (sticks into clumps), and when it dries it just flakes off the paper. (Ask
