I can't sleep.

I got out of bed at 4am this morning and started shooting pictures.

These are fucking gorgeous. I like how the reflection of the flash turned out in the last one, as well as the tendrils. Have you ever considered doing pictures with human blood?

I didn't realize there were such horrible JPEG artifacts, when I uploaded these this morning. Here's a better view of those tendrils:



I got alot of good shots, so I'm going to upload them to an album, but maybe not tonight, I have to go.

I had considered human blood in other media (not photo), but it seems like everyone does that at some point. For drawing and painting it's difficult to work with (sticks into clumps), and when it dries it just flakes off the paper. (Ask prickvixen about it.)

Drawing blood into vacutainers with EDTA keeps it from clumping. It's fun's and easy.
