Ok, After three trips to the Apple store, a trip to the AT&T store. A new SIM card, and 75 minutes on the phone with five different customer service agents. I can finally receive phone calls again on the new handset rawt lent me.

It's still kinda in a state of limbo, because I accidentally had it activated by AT&T as any other regular phone, but no, they do iPhones differently. At least I got voice mail turned on. Also I don't think my iTunes will sync with this yet. (Haven't tried, just got this working ten mins ago.)

I got violently ill again last night, and while puking my guts out on the side of the road (I couldn't reach anywhere else in time.) My phone fell out of my pocket, and hit the cement. It also got a few drops of vomit on it, so I had to clean it. And I think that when I cleaned it off, I accidentally got water in it, and shorted something out. Every minute or so, it thinks that a non-iPhome compatible device was just plugged in to the USB port on the bottom… but only for a fraction of a second. The bottom half of the touchscreen doesn't register touches anymore, so I also can't lock my phone. I can turn it off, but then it turns itself back on because it thinks it just got plugged into something.

So, assuming there's just water inside causing a short, this problem should resolve itself soon, I hope. But I can't really use my phone for anything other than playing my MP3s in alphabetical order. (The UI for that is accessible via the button, and the top of the screen.) (I really can't afford to get a new phone right now.)

That means that if you call or SMS me, I can't answer or reply.

I also got a ticket for $50 last night.
