Awesome Sauce

Lately, everyone around here has been using the term Awesome Sauce. In context, it's used as an acknowledgment or superlative confirmation of a group of things, like a plural ok, or the climax of a sequence of okays.

Example:
Person 1: I'm going to go to the store.
Person 2: Ok
Person 1: Then I'm going to buy some broccoli.
Person 2: Ok
Person 1: And then I'm going to chop it up.
Person 2: Awesome Sauce

Awesome Sauce??? That sounds like some wanna-be chili sauce from TGI Friday's that says it's hot, but is really wimpier than Wonder Bread.
