This was my sledge-hammer solution to the iPhone syncing problem:
The phone now syncs properly. (I guess this is why I get paid the big-bucks?)

I'm tempted by the large multi-touch screen, but the 2 pdas I've used both had actual qwerty thumb keyboards that I quite like, and I'm wondering what you think of the iphone's on-screen keyboard compared to more conventional thumb keyboards.
