Welcome back! I can't seem to reply to my original comment you replied to, so I'll reply here :) No, I don't mind a party, though I may be no fun lol.. Seriously, though, I'm pretty flexible... And no, I haven't registered yet coz I didn't hear back from you on that day, which was the last day of pre-registration...if it's only at the door, I'd want to make extra-sure I'd actually be able to buy my registration there and not have just gone only to be turned away at the door *giggles*... and I'd need a way to get from the airport to wherever I end up staying... other than that, though, I'm game, so...let me know :)
I have a room now, from Thursday to Monday. It's just a regular hotel room for now, I'm going to get it transfered to the party floor… failing that, it'll just be a place to sleep, and shower, and do hotel-roomy stuff.
You can register at the door and everything, or volunteer and get your money back. The airport is practically walking distance from the hotel (About two blocks from the hotel to the edge of the airport property. The hotel is under the flight path for SJC.) There is a free airport shuttle to the hotel, and also a free VTA bus to light rail, which is one stop, and then a block or so, to the hotel.
If you arrive early or late, I can give you a ride to my place, if that's where you end up. (Maybe to someone else's place too, if they're not too far away.)
Wow.. thank you so much for offering your hospitality to me, it means so much. Unfortunately, something has come up that I need to take care of that weekend here in Boston, and I won't be able to make it to Further Confusion this year. :( Hopefully, though, I'll be in the area later this year and I will be able to attend next year's con.
