That was just the UV filter, right? Because you know that's what it's mostly for.

(I've also had that filter-as-insurance-policy pay off, BTW.)

And she tended to favor two to five filters for any given shot, using bone-simple camera's like the OM-1 and the cheap-to-replace filters to do a lot more than most think you should.

First thing I do when I buy a lens is buy a matching daylight filter and put it on before I leave the store. No exceptions. It's saved me a lot of money, too.
