*static* I am coming to you live from the surface of the Moon Black Rock Playa.

I'm sitting in the middle of an alkali lake bed, in the Nevada desert, in my car, driving, sitting in line to the exit, and I have full internet access...

It would be an understatement to say that this has been the greatest experience of my entire life.

I kept looking and looking for your camp. All I knew was that it was around 3:15 and Hope - maybe. I knew where grevydude (Lindz) was, and supposedly Frank Gemback was around there too; And uckticoonox. revar and tugrik, and cobaltie, knew about as much as I did as to your location, and never found you either.

The Belgian waffle was indeed burned; It was very hot, very very hot, and bright; It hurt to look at it from 50 feet away. Later, Nyah (my gf) danced around in the middle of the burning coals.

It turns out we were closer to 2:45 and Hope -- we were always on autopilot on the way home, so it never sank in. There wasn't a lot of chill space, anyway. I'm going to take care of that, next time.

Glad (very glad) you got your car running!!

It took me one hour 45 minutes to get from camp to the road. At 5 A.M. this morning I slept in the RV an hour north of LV, then got up at 7 AM and returned it at 10:00. At about 1 PM I had it all clean and departed for home.

I found an small size headset, possibly yours?

I went to Zyzyx and a huge thunderstorm ensued. I just got home at 10:00 PM.

If there is anything I look forward to more than writing about Burning Man (my first Black Rock experience ever) it is being in touch with you. Thanks for friending me on LJ. ( : You're now all set as friend on my journal too.

I think it took about three or four hours to get from camp to the road. I rested for a bit in Reno, and then slept for an hour at a Vista Point near Truckee. Got home around 5 AM.

I don't think the headset is ours, but Nyah is missing her backpack, it is black with hair-care products and lotion in it. The last place that I saw it was on the seat under the table, in the RV. She was kinda freaking out over it, because it has some stuff in it that she doesn't know how to replace.
