There is a story that goes with these photos, but I'm too sick and tired to write it just now. I spent all of my energy just uploading these and stuff. I'll fix this text later...
Some of these are with UV and IR bandpass filters, and others are my experiments with polarizers and quarter, half, and full-wave plates. (Unfortunately, biological material is much less birefringent than I had hoped.)

So, I'm doing some CSS tweeking on my LJ, and I'm wondering how to make it look best for everyone — or at least for most people viewing it. I'm not going to assume everyone uses the standard VESA modes — I certainly never do, because I'm a VESA Rebel! — But I also didn't want to put this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_display_standard in the poll.
