The UI is so weird now. I don't understand how to use LiveJournal anymore... I'm thinking of getting a Dreamwith account.

Dreamwidth is where most LJ refugees ended up; it's basically LJ as it was before they sold out, plus some good improvements like posting in markdown and separate reading and access lists.

And you can crosspost automatically, for those misguided people who want to stick with LJ.

Many people (self included) have the same username there as here, and one can usually find the others by chasing links.
