I actually got a lot out of that discussion and have been really grateful that you initiated it! I learned a lot from it and got some new insights and opportunities to clarify my own thoughts and feelings about it.

I totally understand the frustration though. Usually when I make a post about something controversial and people start arguing in my LJ, I get overwhelmed and completely fed up with it.
