I'm in Texas! Yee-Haw! OMG! Why is is so cold here?! There's ice on everything! It's supposed to be warm in Texas, what's going on?

UPDATE: If I wasn't in Texas, I'd be at this: She's Geeky and possibly Super Happy Dev House 30. Both close to my house in Mountain View, CA… Where I spend very little time these days.

Due to the laboring economy, we've had to start turning off the Summer for a couple of months out of the year to save on energy costs. We're bad about remembering, though, so the temperature tends to flop between 30 and 80 every other day or so.

When I told Tantric_Chef we're having a four-hour layover in Dallas on the way to Pantheacon, his blue eyes got all wide and big like our cat's whe she begs for treats. I asked him if he was thinking about barbecue and he said "yes."
