PeopleA question people commonly ask me is: "So when am I going to see those photos of me?" So, here are some photos.D300, photo, July 2008, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, San Leandro, CA, USA, Death GuildJulia WolfJulia Wolfimage/jpeg2008
Every time you post photos that were taken (I assume) without flash in low-light conditions, such as the 1st photo of Lyric, your photos have this serious green-yellow cast to them. People have this sickly green tint and it throws of what is otherwise a well composed shot.
It almost looks as if you're trying to correct color and ending up off most of the time.
I did a little bit of white balance correction, but probably not enough. I was in a rush to post these, and so just hit auto white balance in Lightroom for a bunch of these. (Normally I do it by hand.)
Also, I'm still doing all of my editing on a Mac, so it looks ok to me at a gamma of 1.8, but I have no idea what it looks like a gamma 2.2 .
Oh yeah, I remember now, on the first one I white balanced off the cigarette, and then I bumped the blue-yellow balance back up 100K or so. If I had had the time I'd probably have fiddled with the green-purple tint.
