Anthrocon 2006Some of these pictures catch me at the end of my awkward third puberty, when I was starting to turn back into a guy. I'm not so self-conscious of that now, so now you get to see them. I've also color corrected one of the photos from Part 1.D50, photo, June 2006, Anthrocon, furry, convention, Westin Hotel, David L. I think your face in this batch of photos is peculiarly androgynous, and not entirly masculine. I think you're beautiful. Some of these pictures look like the con I remember! I certainly remember those creepy statues while out on the streets looking for a restaurant that was open. And I remember the funny haired loungers in 5dsc_9170_1024x681.jpg and 4dsc_9168_1024x681.jpg
Not by that name, if I do. I'm not really into the fursuiter scene. So, a Jared who lives in Vancouver, and makes fursuits, doesn't ring a bell; but I think most fursuit builders tend to go by more recognizable names like latinvixen02.
yeah, my thoughts exactly. hell, the second year I ran into her at Defcon, it took me a good 15-20 minutes before my brain clicked what was different - that moment of 'Oh yeah, you were walking a different gender last year!'. That was one of my fave moments of that years `con.
5dsc_9151_681x1024.jpg is an unusually good photo of the subject.
Similarly, 5dsc_9155_681x1024.jpg is really well-framed... because you're not afraid to not have every last speck of the subject in the frame. That's good.
4dsc_8875_1024x681.jpg is great for the expression and the matter-of-factness about it Nothing fancy, just a slice in time and one I think I can really understand, or at least explore personally. In contrast, 5dsc_9038_1024x681.jpg is also a slice of time that feels very significant... though this one does take more advantage of a very direct background (rain on window, oldschool but damned if it doesn't still work!)
5dsc_9233_1024x681.jpg – I keep wanting to read something profound into this about the shift of medium, the drawings and then a separate book for words. Not really working out, but it's a nifty photo nonetheless.
I was at this party; And he was very drunk, and had either just thrown up in the bathroom, or has just cleaned someone else's puke off his shirt. Whichever it was, he was very happy and excited about the situation.
Fun pix. Gosh third puberty.... the first one was so much fun... *not*. In the picture with the camera you seem serious and could look like any self-respecting dyke in my local womyn's bookstore. You look hot. Determined. Calculating. Focused. Very womanly. In the other two where you're looking up you look very light, soft, pretty. Very female. Very pretty. You look very thin and wistful in the dark rainy picture. Pensive. Sort of changling looking... neither gender, just a person.
Your beauty shimmers like different veils in soft natural lights.
I've seen many beautiful photons here I think you'd enjoy graphing. :-)
