Okay...what's all the beer for? Chug a beer if you get it wrong?

Back in the early days, the rules were something like:
  • At the start of each round, everyone takes a drink
  • Any time that someone gets a question wrong, they take a drink
  • Any time someone says something stupid/screws up, they take a drink
  • etc. etc.

But then a few years ago, they added a rule, that you get 100 points for every beer that you drink. So this resulted in teams that would answer no questions, and just drink 40 beers in a round (and sometimes puke on stage). So this year they changed the rules again so that there are only a small finite number of beers – still worth 100 points each – that will only be given to a team when they answer a question right. If no team answers correctly for several questions, whoever if the first to answer correctly gets the several beers from the previous questions.
