I saw the first pic & wondered is that the worst fur suit? Doesn't look so bad as far as fursuits go. And then I saw IT! That is one fugly fursuit. Only a lenscap could improve that ragged acid trip.

So, I actually talked to this guy when I was taking these pictures, and almost immediately, a little alarm went off in my head: "DING-DING-DING-DING-DING THIS GUY HAS SCHIZOPHRENIA!" Having spent a lot of time around people with it, I can immediately recognize it.

Looking at the artwork on the ED page, reminds me a lot of Louis Wain:

That's a good picture of you, and the green and blue fellow is really cool. Fursuits usually don't catch my attention, but that one in exceptional.

Even as an outsider who is not a furry, that suit is just disturbing, to the point of being Lovecraftian. Rather than even have the tragic charm of somebody who has a good heart and is an earnest fan, but can't craft to save their life, that looks like it was meant to disturb and unsettle people, possibly even hurt.

I remember that individual from last year. I took a few photos myself just to document that particular fursuit, in case no one else had the forethought to make sure that images of that should be captured for future historical interest.

I had an opportunity to talk to the guy who made it, as he had a table in the artist's alley for a few days as well, and was outside at night sometime. Cordial enough fellow, in a 'Well, I don't think he's going to knife me.' sort of way. He did always have something to say, and at least he was nice enough to let the conversation end when it was the right time. So he was not totally lacking in social graces.

He did not attend AC this year, at least not to my knowledge.
