I think Saturday, I was riding my bike around topless, with my camera. And everyone was looking at me strangely. I thought that it was because of my camera, and maybe they were afraid that I was a reporter or something (or that I was committing some kind of Burning Man faux pas). But after fifteen to twenty minutes I realized that everyone was staring at my breasts, not the camera. The occasional complements of "Hey nice breasts!" from the occasional frat boys confirmed this.

It's completely mindblowingly amazing... and the pictures, as beautiful as they are, only capture about 50% of that energy.

It makes your skin tingle just to be there. And not just from the dust and sun!

I didn't make it all the way out there at night. Only in the late afternoon/sunset. As much as I wanted to go out there to watch the stars on acid.

...I decided to go to my second Nocturnal Wonderland in San Bernadino, CA the weekend this happened. As a raver and a fur...Burning Man is something I HAVE to go to before I die...hopefully within' the next few years. = )

I'm a bit late in getting to this, of course, but wanted to comment anyway. You take some seriously awesome photos, and I'm glad I got to hang around and talk to you that one sunrise. I was really curious to see how those turned out, and they're great!

Seeing these pictures just reminds me of how awesome the whole thing was, too. Always a good thing.
