Single woman, wandering around the streets of downtown San Diego, with $2000 in camera gear, at three A.M. Saturday morning, very noticeably taking pictures... What's the worst that could happen?
A group of hackers, driving 100km into Mexico, in my new car, with no passports, and no one who speaks Spanish, at one AM on Sunday morning... What's the worst that could happen?

We talked about Skinny Puppy, and New Orleans, and leather pants, and I took a picture of you as the sun came up. Then I sort of lost contact with you. I ran across your livejournal recently, and I recognized who you were.
Anyway, I'm still in San Diego right now, but not for much longer. I'll be in Mountain view tonight and tomorrow, and then up in SF Wed. and Thurs., and back in Mountain View on Friday.

You could get stopped by the police, have your camera gear confiscated, and get arrested as a threat to national security.
