I didn't take all of these photos obviously; buckminst was my surrogate photographer. I probably should have brought my other camera up on stage, for shots from up there too, but oh well...
Okay...what's all the beer for? Chug a beer if you get it wrong?
Back in the early days, the rules were something like:
At the start of each round, everyone takes a drink
Any time that someone gets a question wrong, they take a drink
Any time someone says something stupid/screws up, they take a drink
etc. etc.
But then a few years ago, they added a rule, that you get 100 points for every beer that you drink. So this resulted in teams that would answer no questions, and just drink 40 beers in a round (and sometimes puke on stage). So this year they changed the rules again so that there are only a small finite number of beers – still worth 100 points each – that will only be given to a team when they answer a question right. If no team answers correctly for several questions, whoever if the first to answer correctly gets the several beers from the previous questions.
