New License Plates
So, I finally got the license plates for my new car (purchased back in March). Unfortunately, every single time that I go to the DMV, I get stuck in some absurd catch-22. (That's why I couldn't get my renewed driver's license for three years.) This time it seemed pretty simple: Go to the DMV office, and pickup the new plates. Except, that they wanted me to surrender my old license plates... which I didn't have... because I just purchased this car new, and there are no plates on it. They wanted me to come back sometime later, when I would, mysteriously, have some license plates to turn in. As my plates were sitting there in the office, I didn't think it likely that I would someday receive them, so that I could turn them in for themselves.
Anyway, I used my spooky fae mind-control powers to get the clerk to just give me the plates. (I should have been doing this more often in the past to bypass bureaucratic stupidity.)

[Poll #741390]
[Bonus points to anyone who knows what the reference on my plates is.]

Do what you have to do to get the job done.
By the bye, it is odd that the dealership did not give you at least temporary plates.

Oh dear.
Well, I don't consider jedi mind tricks magic. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
